Treadmill Tunes
Two weeks ago we bought a treadmill. A short walk, long stroll, hike, or run is good for my health. Physical and mental health. I don’t think I’ll be running on the treadmill anytime soon. At least an hour on the treadmill every day is the goal.
What is the background sound of your morning. In my youth it was the morning radio show. Here in the 21st century, when driving or at my desk, it is a couple of channels on SiriusXM. But, the past four days I rediscovered my iPod, and the 1400+ songs on it, and have become my own DJ. Different music and words each morning. Here are my treadmill tunes for today.
- Washington Journal (CSPAN) 30 minutes
- For Those About to Rock (ACDC)
- Rambling Man (Doobie Brothers)
- Break On Through (The Doors)
- Who Am I (Les Miserables)
- Ten Duel Commandments (Hamilton)
- Mama Tried (Merle Haggard)
- Closer to the Heart (Rush)
- Beautiful Day (U2)
- Pancho and Lefty (Merle Haggard & Willie Nelson)
- Signs of Life (Pink Floyd)
- Toccata (Huw Williams, St Pauls’s Cathedral)
