Davison’s Doodle is written and managed by Rev. Michael A. Davison, Jr. I am an ordained minister with standing within the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). I was ordained into Christian ministry in Nov. 1991, at First Christian Church in Lubbock TX, by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Southwest.
I serve on staff with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Oklahoma.
My companion in life is Rev. Dr. Lisa W. Davison. She is a First Testament biblical scholar, ordained minister, and keeps me grounded. Lisa is the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Academic Dean and the and the Johnnie Eargle Cadieux Professor of Hebrew Bible at Phillips Theological Seminary. We are child-free by choice, enjoy the ocean breeze, and think of ourselves as “foodies.”
